Palm Springs
Back in the swinging 60s, the most dazzling of legendary Hollywood stars loved to party in the glamorous city of Palm Springs in California. This trend draws inspiration from that era. The colour palette was bright and fun, from poolside turquoise to sunshine yellow, with lots of white on white to keep things fresh. Geometric shapes with a splash of gold added a bit of glamour.
Wood
A versatile material that can be translated across many different trends and vibes, the use of wood in design is being seen in lots surprising ways. Think of wooden watches, vases and candle holders. Particularly popular right now is wood to be stripped back and bare, allowing for its natural colours and textures to shine through. It also looks great when paired with indoor plants like succulents and cacti, another rising interiors trend at the moment.
Mixed Metallics
Once upon a time, when people decorated their homes, they’d choose either silver or gold and just stick to it, but now, people are starting to mix and match different metallics with great success. Recently, copper has also been all over the place, from jewellery to homewares and furniture and bronze has been making an appearance in interiors, too. When executed well, mixed metallics lend a super charged jolt of glamour into a space.
