Be still my beating heart! We just love Valentine’s Day visual merchandising – it’s such a fun time with so many different props to play with to create romance in our installs. Our approach for this key retailing event this year was to install big, bold demonstrations of love. We used over-sized floral hearts and tassels galore, plus the traditional pretty love heart, which never goes astray. Here is some of our work from this month.
At Broadway Shopping Centre, we handcrafted these over-sized love hearts with a mix of floral buds. The idea was to create a unique prop for the centre that would grab the attention of their shoppers. Our mannequins were styled in edgy denim outfits as a contrast.
These installs at Broadway were cute, pretty and all about romance. These showcases reflect some of the pastel Valentines Day-inspired product from the centre’s homewares retailers.
It was tassels galore at Penrith Westfield – they were such simple props but made such a great impact on our showcases. We wanted to achieve something pink and pretty, but at the same time out-of-the-box, creative and eye-catching.
We continued the tassels and pretty-in-pink theme in our flatlay showcases here at Penrith Westfield.
These intricate filigree love hearts on display at Roselands Shopping Centre added a beautiful traditional touch to our showcases here.
